I took it upon myself to fulfill their wishes and watch the film. I went into this film thinking it was going to be a comedic feature involving crude humor and subtle satire about family values (assuming from the title). This movie genuinely disturbed me. I had an emotional reaction to it. I felt fear for hours after I watched it. I didn't want to be in the dark. The thing that made it so horrific was how convincing and realistic the acting was.
