The gun is in fairly nice shape overall, just needs a good cleaning. I believe it was manufactured around 1977.The .38 Masterpiece target revolver was made from the late 1940's until 1982, then reintroduced in 1991 with a full lug barrel and made to 1999. Your gun shipped in 1974. Value is determined mostly by condition.
