Dec 31, 2019 · It looks like the problem was something related to my resolution that it isn't supported by the game engine. So i had to manually install a patch that solves that issue. Note: the patch only works for GoG, CD version and UniWS versions of the swkotor.exe file, so if you are going to to the same thing that i did you must install UniWS first ... Kotor is in Local Disk (C:) > Program Files (×86) > Steam > steamapps > Common > swkotor. The uniws.zip file is also on that drive. In one of the videos I watched, the guy had the exact same locations, and for him it worked. There are a couple comments under the videos of people having the same problem.

To make this happen I tried UniWS to enhance KotOR's (GOG-version) screen resolution from 800x600 (which it runs in after installing the game) to 2560x1440.
