On a Alumaduty pick up the husky liner extends an inch and a half out onto the plastic door sill plate, where as the WeatherTech meets it flush. it doesn’t overlap it, meaning debris can get into that joint. That joint can also curl up, expanding it and making it worse.
Weathertech-full coverage, they extend much farther up the sides, front and rear of the foot well for better protection-more of a plastic (kydex) material. Thin and more rigid-perfect fit-expensive Ford mats-less coverage by a large margin compared to weather tech-rubber material-less expensive my opinion, both are great.This can help you beat the heat in extreme weather conditions. The second difference is that the HeatSheild reflects away heat and blocks out light, whereas a sunshade attaches to the headliner of your car roof and shields you from the sun. I have BMW OEM in f10. I have WT digital floor liner in wife's qx56 (and had in my Infiniti g35 and wife's old sienna minivan) v.

Both the Huskys and the Weathertechs look like about $8 worth of plastic. In my part of Canada, Newfoundland, Action Truck Caps is a dealer of both types of mats. I paid about 180 bucks for each set of four, the 2012 and the 2008. The manufacturers websites have them cheaper, but shipping brings it back up.
Steev182. If you want a cheap work truck look, Weathertech are fine. In real life, the Tuxmats look higher quality and have loads of coverage. When I had some in my Charger, they were a pain to remove, clean and reinstall, but they looked great and the carpet was perfect still. To anyone deciding between Husky and Weathertech, I can say consider the Weathertechs unless the price gap is huge like I paid. The drawback to the Husky's is anytime they are wet or snow is on your feet at all, they are SLIPPERY, like almost dangerously slippery.
